At One Atlantek we are passionate about keeping our marine environment as clean and pollution free.
We have adopted a number of practices to ensure that our impact on the natural environment is as small as possible.

From having a well maintained top of the range engine, to keeping the boat out of the water (eliminating the need for anti fouling paint), we have taken a number of steps to ensure we operate in a responsible manner when it comes to the environment.

This goes as far as the products we use to clean the boat back at HQ and how we drive the boat to be as efficient as possible.
We keep the boats hull shiny and clean reducing drag as a rough, weedy or dirty hull can radically increase drag
(by as much as 40%!).

Our company policy is that we never fuel or do any engine maintenance on the water unless it is an absolute emergency,
thus drastically reducing any chance of leaks and spills.

When we are cleaning the boat we use a product called “Rib Revive” which is non-caustic, non-abrasive, biodegradable and will not cause harm to marine life, meaning it can be used safely on and off the water.

To help flush the engine through after use we use water and a product called Salt Away.
Salt-Away is a water based, non hazardous, biodegradable solution and contains properties that dissolve, release and remove salt crystals from any surface. Water alone does not remove all the salt from a surface.

Additionally, we provide re-useable cups and a water dispenser on board rather than plastic bottles of water and of course, any rubbish that is generated, is recycled.

We believe that all of these little steps add up to make our business as kind to the environment as possible.
